At 14:46 hours on 21st March 2026, two fire engines from Lancaster and Preesall attended a vehicle fire on Garstang Road in Pilling. The fire involved a tractor and firefighters used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained on scene for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
