At 14:09 hours on 31st December 2025, two fire engines from Longridge and Preston attended a fire involving a tractor on Parsonage Lane, Chipping, Preston. Firefighters used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours.
