At 07:15 on 4 August 2025, two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a vehicle fire on Preston New Road in Blackpool. The incident was involving a car fire following a road traffic collision. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for forty-five minutes.
