At 12:49 hours on 31st December 2025, two fire engines from Garstang and Fulwood attended a large vehicle fire on Bleasdale Lane, Bleasdale. Firefighters used one hose reel jet, one forty‑five millilitre branch and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
