At 06:08 on the 16th August 2026, one fire engine from Ormskirk attended a vehicle fire on Pippin Street, Burscough. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for 2 hours and thirty minutes.
