At 10:30 on 28 August, five fire engines and a water bowser from Fulwood, Preston, Bamber Bridge and Leyland were called to a vehicle fire on Bluebell Way in Preston. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two jets and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately five hours.
