At 10:18 on 25 August 2026, one fire engine from Fulwood responded to reports of a fire on Blackpool Road, Preston. The fire involved two vehicles and was extinguished by firefighters using two hose reels and breathing apparatus. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and ten minutes.
