Vehicle fire on M58
At 2:30pm on 17 May 2026, two fire engines from Skelmersdale attended a vehicle fire on the M58 motorway. Crews used one dry powder extinguisher, one hose reel and a water curtain to bring the incident under control. Crews were on scene for 50 minutes.
