Vehicle fire on M6
At 14:22 on the 15th March 2025, four fire engines from Lancaster, Fulwood and Leyland attended a vehicle fire on M6 South between Junction 33 and 32. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews remain in attendance.
