Vehicle Fire on M6 Southbound
At 08:23 on 17 March 2026, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a vehicle fire on M6 Southbound between junctions 32 and 31. Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the vehicle. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty-five minutes.
