At 13:11, two fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn were called to a fire on the M65 eastbound between junction 5 and 6 following reports of a fire. Firefighters were met with a pick up truck that was on fire and they used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
