At 11:09 hours on the 21st of March 2026, four fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham, Fleetwood and Lytham were mobilised to a building fire on Tranmere Road in Blackpool. The fire involved garden waste which had spread to the garage and two sheds of a domestic property. Fire crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were assessed on scene by Northwest Ambulance Service. Fire crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.
