Waste fire in Oswaldtwistle
At 03:12 on 23rd March 2026 three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a fire on Stone Bridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle. The fire was approximately five metres by five metres and involved a number of waste bales. Fire fighters used one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
