Wildfire in Cloughbridge

At 10:37 on the 16th May 2025, five fire engines and a Hagglund vehicle attended a wildfire Burnley Road, Cloughbridge. Firefighters used grass beaters, blowers, a hose reel and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
