Wildfire in Darwen

We currently have two fire engines from Bacup and Rawtenstall and two wildfire units in attendance at a wildfire close to Darwen Tower.

The fire is being brought under control using beaters, blowers, and water packs.

We ask people to please avoid the area whilst we deal with this incident and if you can see or smell smoke, please close your windows and doors.
