At 16:42 on the 17th May 2025, five fire engines from Hyndburn, Blackburn, Nelson and Burnley attended a wildfire on Manchester Road, Hapton. Firefighters are using two hose reels, a light portable pump, and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Please avoid the area and consider alternative routes.
Crews were in attendance for three hours.
