We have a special podcast episode to mark this global day which celebrates women’s achievements. We speak to Group Manager Caroline Harrison and Watch Manager Sarah Holden as they explore their experiences of being a female firefighter and motherhood, their recruits course and what International Women’s Day means to them.
By making women’s achievement more visible, helps to build equality and inspires others to consider career paths they may not previously thought were an option for them. Who knows, we may see more and more women realising what they are capable of and encourage them to apply for a role they didn’t previously think they could do.
