At 17:51hrs, two fire engines from Fulwood and Preston were mobilised to an outbuilding on fire on Durton Lane, Broughton. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to bring the incident under control and were at the scene for thirty minutes. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
