At 23:52hrs, fire crews from Haslingden and Rawtenstall tackled a vehicle fire at a house on Kirkhill Avenue in Haslingden. The vehicle was well alight on the driveway and had spread to the property when firefighters arrived at the scene. Firefighters brought the fire under control using three hose reels. Crews were in attendance around one hour and forty five minutes and investigations are now underway to establish the cause.
