Two fire crews from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham alongside the boat and support crews from Preston attended reports of a person stuck in water near Ribblesdale Place, Preston. One casualty was located in the river, waist deep in the water. Two swift water rescue technicians rescued the casualty who was then transferred to hospital via ambulance. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour.
