Two fire crews from Nelson and Burnley alongside the Urban Search and Rescue Team helped a horse at an incident. The incident was on Barrowford Road in Fence and involved a horse which had got stuck. Firefighters liaised with a vet and worked to get the horse back upright. They used a spreader bar and harness and were in attendance around one hour and thirty minutes.
