At 12:22 on the 8th July 2022, two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended an incident on Blackpool Road, Preston. Firefighters rescued four ducklings from a storm drain using hose inflation kit, nimbus nozzle and chimney roads. Crews were in attendance for two hours and thirty minutes.
