Job Details
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service’s purpose is to make Lancashire safer. Through prevention, protection and emergency response services, we work every day to protect over one million people across our county.
Our governance - delivered through the Lancashire Combined Fire Authority (CFA) - is central to how we make sound, transparent and accountable decisions that put our communities first.
In this important role, you will support the governance and democratic processes of the CFA. This involves preparing agendas, reports, and minutes of meetings and providing support to elected members and senior officers.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise and manage deadlines, and skilled at minute-taking with excellent attention to detail.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon on 13 April 2026, however we reserve the right to close the advert prior to this if sufficient quality applications have been received. Candidates will then be invited to attend an interview likely to be held on Wednesday 29 April 2026. The role will be based at our Fulwood site.
The post will be offered subject to receipt of satisfactory references and occupational health assessment.
