Two fire engines from Lancaster and Garstang along with the air support unit attended a fire in the open involving a gas cylinder on Ribblesdale Drive in Forton. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel, a ground monitor and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
