Four fire engines and crews (2 Morecambe; Bolton le Sands; Lancaster) were assigned to a fire in a joiner’s workshop at commercial premises on Main Road, Galgate. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is to be established. No-one was injured.
