Firefighters from Preston, Fulwood and Penwortham were called to reports of a small rubbish fire in the open on Ambrose Hall Lane in Preston. When they arrived they found the fire involved a quantity of tyres approximately 15m x 10m. They extinguished the fire using two jets, two breathing apparatus and one hose reel.
