Building fire in Penwortham
At 02:30, four fire engines and one aerial ladder platform from Penwortham, Preston, Chorley, and Bamber Bridge responded to a building fire on Factory Lane, Penwortham. The fire involved the first floor of a two-storey building, which was extinguished by firefighters using two hose reels, a positive pressure ventilation fan, and four breathing apparatus units.
