At 20:56 on 26 May 2026, six fire engines and the aerial ladder platform attended a commercial building fire on Colne Road, Burnley. Firefighters used eight breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, ceiling hooks, small tools, lighting and one jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately four and a half hours.
