At 22:35 on Saturday, 10th May 2025, six fire engines and specialist appliances from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended a fire involving a commercial premises on Northcote Road in Langho. While on scene, fire crews used two breathing apparatus and three main jets to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were assessed at the scene by North West Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation. Crews remained on scene for several hours.
