Commercial building fire in Stalmine

At 22:41 on 7 September 2025, eight fire engines, a drone and an aerial ladder platform attended a commercial building fire on Back Lane, Stalmine. Please keep your windows and doors shut if you are local to the incident.

Crews extinguished the fire using two jets, two breathing apparatus, a ground monitor and a thermal imaging camera. Firefighters were at the scene for approximately seventeen hours.
