At 05:42 on the 17th May 2026, three fire engines from Fulwood and Preston along with an aerial ladder platform (ALP) and the water tower attended a commercial fire on Longridge Road, Preston. The fire involved waste. Firefighters are using a hose reel jet, the ALP, the water tower and a ground monitor to extinguish the fire.
