At 14:59 on the 30th November 2025, six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform attended a derelict building fire on Bury Road, Haslingden. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two 45m jets, a hose reel jet, a triple extension ladder and the aerial ladder platform to bring the fire under control. Crews remain in attendance.
If you can see or smell smoke, please keep your windows and doors closed.
Please avoid the area, Bury Road is closed at this time.
Update at 19:30: This incident has been reduced to two fire engines with firefighters monitoring and extinguishing hotspots.
