At 14:59 on the 29th November 2025, six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform attended a derelict building fire on Bury Road, Haslingden. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two 45m jets, a hose reel jet and the aerial ladder platform to bring the fire under control. Crews remain in attendance.
