At 18:28 hours on 17th November 2025, six fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, an incident command unit, and a drone, all from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, attended a large fire involving a commercial building on St James’s Street, Burnley. Firefighters extinguished the fire using 45mm jets, two hose reels, and breathing apparatus units. Crews were in attendance for seven hours and twenty minutes.
