At 18:28 hours on 17th November 2025, six fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, an incident command unit, and a drone, all from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, attended a large fire involving a commercial building on St James’s Street, Burnley. Firefighters are currently extinguishing the fire using 45mm jets, two hose reels, and breathing apparatus units.
