At 21:55 hours on 28th March 2026, two fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale attended a domestic building fire on Whalley Drive, Aughton. Crews used one thermal imaging camera, lighting, one hose reel and two breathing apparatus. No injuries were reported and fire crews were in attendance for two hours.
