At 21:58 on the 11th January 2025, two fire engines from Nelson attended a domestic building fire on Appleby Drive, Barrowford. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for ninety minutes.
