At 16:18 on the 3rd August 2024, four fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham and South Shore along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston attended a domestic building fire on Orchard Meadows, Elswick. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews remain in attendance.
