On 8th January 2026 at 17:14, two fire engines from Padiham and Hyndburn attended an incident on Burnley Road, Accrington. The fire involved the roof of a property. Firefighters used one hose reel, one triple extension ladder, lighting and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
