Domestic property fire in Burscough

At 00:59 on 22nd December 2025, five fire engines and an aerial ladder appliance from Lancashire and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue responded to a building fire on Manor Avenue, Burscough. The fire involved two semi-detached properties originating from the first floor and spread to a second property. The fire was extinguished by firefighters using eight breathing apparatus, one main line jet, two hose reels, small tools, and one extension ladder. Fire crews remain on scene at this time.
