At 14:57 hours on Saturday 18th October 2025, five fire engines and an aerial ladder platform with support from across Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended Plox Brow, Tarleton. The fire involved the first floor of a building. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and one jet to extinguish the fire. Crews remain in attendance.
