At 15:33 on 12 April 2025, six fire engines, along with the wildfire unit, Haaglunds and the drone team attended a wildfire, approximately 100m x 50m at White Coppice, Chorley. Firefighters used aqualeaders, beaters and blowers to extinguish the fire and continue to beat out hotspots.
Please stay away from the area and keep windows and doors shut.
Do not fly drones in the area as you may obstruct emergency operations.
