At 04:33 hours on Thursday 11th September 2025, several fire engines, the air unit, water bowser and small command unit from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident off Hobbs Lane, Claughton-on-Brock, Preston. The fire involved a large barn containing hay. Firefighters used two jets and two light portable pumps. Crews remain in attendance.
