Outbuilding fire in Longridge

At 14:17, eight fire engines and the water bowser were in attendance at reports of an outbuilding fire on Alston Lane, Longridge.

If you can see or smell smoke, please keep your windows and doors closed.

Please avoid the area.

Update at 16:00 Firefighters used three hose reel jets and a ground monitor to extinguish the fire.

Update at 17:00: This incident has been reduced to three fire engines, with firefighter continuing to monitor and extinguish remaining hotspots.
