At 18:15 on 9 February 2026, two fire engines from Barnoldswick and Earby attended Beckside, Salterforth. The incident involved a two vehicle road traffic collision. Fire crews rescued one casualty from the vehicle and handed over to north west ambulance service. Crews were in attendance approximately fifty minutes.
