At 20:29 on 8 June 2026, several appliances from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident at Thompson Park, Burnley. Crews assisted North West Ambulance Service in extricating one casualty using a scoop stretcher, who was then conveyed to hospital. Crews remained on scene for approximately thirty five minutes.
