Lancaster and Silverdale crews, including the swift water rescue team from Lancaster rescued six people near Shore Road in Silverdale. The group had become stranded on a sandbank across a tidal channel with their dog and were unable to get back. Firefighters alongside the coast guard used two inflatable walkways and wading poles to bring them to safety. Crews were in attendance around ninety minutes.
