At 14:47 on 25th November, three fire engines from Blackburn and Chorley attended a rescue of a person on Bruce Street, Blackburn. One casualty had become trapped in machinery. Firefighters used a high pressure airbag to release the casualty before they were placed in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews remained in attendance for approximately two and a half hours.
