At 14:40 on 25th February, fire crews from Leyland and Penwortham rescued a person from the water on Carr Lane, Croston. On arrival, the casualty was in the water along the riverbank. Firefighters rescued the individual before paramedics performed precautionary checks. Crews were detained for fifty minutes.
