At 21:21 on 09 August, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a road traffic collision on Wainwright Way, Blackburn. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters released one casualty from their vehicle before placing them in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews were in attendance for fifty minutes.
