Police called for fire crews following a collision involving four vehicles. Two fire engines and crews from Preston and one engine and crew from Fulwood were assigned. Firefighters rescued someone trapped in one of the vehicles and the casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance. Crews were in attendance for two hours.
