Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are looking to recruit a Finance and Procurement Support Officer to support the Finance and Procurement Team.
The role of the Finance and Procurement Support Officer will include the processing and validating invoices for payment in line with policy, the reconciliation of invoices with orders, the raising of debtor invoices and supporting the chasing of aged debt, oversight and management of the pooled PPE system and updating the Stores stock system. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a commercial discipline such as Finance or Procurement and will have the knowledge and understanding of this environment and will be customer focused with the ability to advise other and communicate effectively both internally within LFRS and externally with suppliers

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have 3 GSCE’s or equivalent including Maths and English and that you have previous experience of working in a commercial discipline such as a Finance or Procurement environment.
